What if the story of your life IS a joke? Is it okay to tell a joke then? XD
Other than #7, that&#039;s the only one I disagree with. I&#039;ve seen some speeches that incorporate jokes very well. Like writing your speech word-for-word, it can be a good tool or good way to distance yourself from your audience, depending on how you use it.

I&#039;m writing my first Real Serious Speech right now, so this is kinda a big thing on my mind at the moment.</description>
