For Kyeli’s 33rd birthday, I promised her a trip to Portland in the future. Well, the future is now! (:
We’re planning a big road trip through the southwestern US and the West Coast, and we’d love to see you!
We’re leaving Austin on December 10th, heading west to the Pacific coast (stopping by Carlsbad Caverns and the Grand Canyon on the way), arriving in Portland by the 19th, spending some time in the Pacific Northwest (notably the Sequoias and the redwoods), then retracing our route south and east.

Our biggest trip expense will be lodging, and we’d love to spend time with our faraway friends, so we’re killing two birds with one stone by asking you if you’d be willing to let us stay with you for a night. (We have air mattresses, so we don’t even need a bed.)
So if you’re anywhere near the red line (it’s not super accurate) and would like to see us, share a meal with us, or let us sleep on your floor, then please let us know so we can make plans.
