Erm… what?

It’s not like it’s a huge surprise to anyone that exercise and healthy eating exist. Those concepts have been around for a while.

But “handing power over to doctors and nurses”? Is there someone more qualified to handle my health issues than someone who has specifically trained at the job? It’s not like doctors will advise you to overeat and skip out on exercise.

I seriously don’t get how this idea is in any way revolutionary – the only thing I can possibly derive as it’s meaning is that doctors are bad (and you know what? My ten surgeries beg to differ, as do the three wisdom teeth I had removed. As do all my vaccines. And my hormones….. My strep throat cure…. Doctors *rock!*)

I love it! That is so true. We are the the only ones repsonsible for our health. . . .our wealth, and happiness. All of it.

What I find super revolutionary about this is that while others are qualified to give their opinions, provide treatment, etc – ultimately I am the greatest expert on me. How things make me feel, what I should eat to feel better, etc.
