I order a whole case of tempeh every 6 weeks or so, and I get all my grains and beans and spices this way, too. I haven't actually gone through and calculated but I reckon this saves me at least a couple hundred bucks a year, and I'm only feeding one person with my food budget. This enables me to spend the extra money on good vegetables. Which, in Indiana, is NICE, because it's farm country up here and the good vegetables tend to be REALLY GOOD.
