I very much tell stories. It's all I've had. It's like you said... choose your stories wisely.

"The stories we tell become the realities we live in."
"So be careful what stories you tell."

Yes yes and yes! The stories are everything. The stories are how we relate to the world. The stories tell who we are , what we are doing, and why we do them. Pick good stories. Pick empowering stories. Pick stories that leave everyone a winner.

To relieve her dissonance, she tells a story of positivity, of visualization and manifestation, and of wild success.

Will you share with us a more resonant story?

I love your stories of positivity, visualization, manifestation, and wild success. I also love your stories of authenticity -- the ones where you embrace your humanness, the ones where you talk about how you fall short of being as positive and manifestastic and successful as you want to be, the ones where you make mistakes that you/i/we can learn from, the ones where I feel like someone like me who fucks up, has bad days, experiences fear and doubt and misery and woe and low self-esteem, works my ass off to get something done on time and still doesn't manage to do it (*cough*), communicates poorly, etc. can still do all the awesome things that you do because you do all those things too and are willing and able to speak up about them.

Is there an opportunity in this lesson for you to show us more of YOU?

Star!! Applause! Digg! Stumble!! STUFF!!!

I must be a prime example of how loathe many people are to do any of these things if there isn't a button in front of them, and of how QUICKLY those people would do the same things if given a super easy one-click release.

And although it's probably a good lesson for us to learn, I'm going to overcome my inertia, groan and drag my heels and POST THIS ON DIGG. BECAUSE IT'S AWESOME. OMG.

Here is the link for other commenters who'd like to Digg this post as well:
